SOS was recognized by the White House for our commitment to help young people to become social entrepreneurs. If you are a young person who has an idea to make our community better, SOS wants to help you Make it Happen. Submit your idea today!
Please note that SOS requires students to have earned at least 10 hours of service with SOS before submitting a Make It Happen application.
Spring 2026 Deadlines
Submit your application by March 31, 2026 to begin your project during the Spring 2026 semester. Project coaching slows during the summer months. Applications submitted in April-June will be started in August 2026.
Fall 2026 Deadlines
For Trip Scholarship applicants - your project idea must be submitted by September 15, 2026 and only hours earned through October 31, 2026 will be eligible for Trip Scholarship consideration.
