About the Program

SOS is excited to present the 2026 Youth Makers Academy, where students will participate in hands-on workshops while they learn about careers in manufacturing and engineering from local industry leaders! Students will hear from career experts on pathways to trade or technical careers, college degree pathways and everything in between.

Topics include: manufacturing & engineering careers, engineering design, CAD and 3D printing, electronics, robotics, cybersecurity, supply chain & logistics, and more!

Youth Makers Academy is open to rising 8th grade students (current 7th grade) through graduating seniors from the Class of 2026.

Dates: July 20-24, 2026

Cost: $200 (Full and partial financial aid available)

We are still accepting applications for Summer 2026. Apply by May 22 for priority consideration.
