SOS South Korea AmbassadorTrip
July 19-28, 2027
Discover South Korea with SOS through authentic connection on this unforgettable student exchange to our sister city of Gwangju. From the moment students arrive, they will be immersed in Korean culture: wearing traditional hanbok at a Confucian school, creating Hangeul art in historic villages, learning K-pop dance, and cheering alongside local friends at a KIA Tigers baseball game. Through school visits, cultural workshops, volunteer service at Mudeungsan National Park, and reflection at the May 18th National Cemetery, students will gain meaningful insight into Korea’s history, values, and civic spirit. A home-visit program and farewell dinner with host families will deepen friendships and foster lasting global connections. The journey also includes highlights of the capital Seoul, blending cultural discovery with global awareness. More than a trip, this is a powerful sister-city experience that builds cross-cultural understanding, leadership, and lifelong international friendships.
